Indonesia’s most popular tourist destination, the island of Bali in the center of the Indonesian archipelago is a true paradise on earth.
With an area of 5,630 km2 (140 km long by 80 km wide) crossed by a chain of volcanic mountains, the highest of which rises to 3,142 m, the majority of the population is concentrated around its capital Denpasar.

Balinese culture is Hindu. This Hinduism is an amalgam of indigenous beliefs, Buddhism and Shivaism of Indian origin. The Balinese are a spiritual people, who take life in their stride. The Balinese are peace-lovers. Harmony must be maintained at all levels of existence.
The Balinese never lose their temper and channel their violence into religious rituals. Their philosophy is all about serenity.
