Island of the gods

Indonesia’s most popular tourist destination, the island of Bali in the center of the Indonesian archipelago is a true paradise on earth.

With an area of 5,630 km2 (140 km long by 80 km wide) crossed by a chain of volcanic mountains, the highest of which rises to 3,142 m, the majority of the population is concentrated around its capital Denpasar.

A beautiful setting

White sandy or volcanic beaches, palm trees, year-round warm water, surrounding islands… But also forests, mountains, volcanoes, waterfalls, hot springs, are just some of the wonders that Bali has to offer its visitors.

Coastline with many famous surf spots, but also numerous diving sites and a seabed rich in fish and coral.

An exceptional welcome

Balinese culture is Hindu. This Hinduism is an amalgam of indigenous beliefs, Buddhism and Shivaism of Indian origin. The Balinese are a spiritual people, who take life in their stride. The Balinese are peace-lovers. Harmony must be maintained at all levels of existence.

The Balinese never lose their temper and channel their violence into religious rituals. Their philosophy is all about serenity.

This constant quest for beauty and perfection is evident in every house, on every street corner, and gives Bali its unique character.

The kindness of the Balinese is just as legendary, and they have managed to combine modernism with the preservation of a living, authentic ancestral culture. Religious ceremonies and festivals are very common, and the Balinese spontaneously invite foreigners to attend.

Daily life in Bali is very pleasant.
